The Persian Wildlife Heritage Foundation (PWHF) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization (NGO) that helps protect and conserve wildlife and natural habitats in Iran through scientific research, education, awareness raising, on-the-ground conservation activities, and local community engagement. Through direct funding of the PWHF, Rossen Darman strives to make a difference in conserving crucial wildlife and habitats in Iran.
With this vision, Rossen Darman not only aims to improve the health of individuals but is also taking steps to improve the habitat and the well-being of animals in Iran. This is part of our live a better life slogan. Through our annual donations we hope to support the activities and projects of the PWHF which include conservation of the Asiatic cheetah, Asiatic black bear, Persian leopard and various species of wild sheep.
Based on recent research, these species respectively rank first, second, ninth and twenty-second in conservation priority among the mammals of Iran. In order to protect these animals, their habitat and prey must be preserved as well. As a result, a large variety of fauna and flora will also benefit from these conservation initiatives.
